  • 2-3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 4 large Tomato, roughly chopped
  • ½ inch Ginger, chopped
  • 5-10 Curry leaves
  • 2 Green chilli, chopped
  • ¼ tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 ½ tsp Degi red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 cup fresh Tomato, puree
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • ¼ cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp Jaggery
  • For Garnish
  • Ratlami sev
    1. In a kadai, add ghee onces it’s hot, add mustard seeds let it splutter.
    2. Add ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and saute well.
    3. Add asafoetida, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute well.
    4. Add chopped tomato and toss well.
    5. Add tomato puree and mix everything well.
    6. Cook for 10-15 minutes, add water, salt to taste, ghee, jaggery and mix it well.
    7. Garnish it with ratlami sev and serve hot.
