- 2 Green chillies (less spicy & broken into half)
- 5-6 Garlic cloves
- ½ inch Ginger, slice
- Salt to taste
- 1 ½ tbsp Ghee
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 3 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 no. Garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- ½ inch Ginger, roughly chopped
- ½ tbsp Coriander powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Degi red chili powder
- ¼ tsp Cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 medium Tomato, chopped
- ⅓ cup Water
- 1 ½ tbsp Oil
- 1 Bay leaf
- Prepared Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium Onion, cut into dice
- 2 medium Capsicum, cut into dice
- Prepared Gravy
- ¼ cup Little water
- 1 Tomato, cut into dice
- 450 gms Paneer, cut into cube
- ¼ cup Paneer, grated (for finishing)
- 1 tsp Prepared Masala
- ½ tbsp Butter, cubed
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 15-17 Black peppercorns
- ½ tsp Fennel seeds
- 2-4 Cloves
- 3 Black cardamom seeds
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Coriander sprig
- Lemon wedge
- Green chili, less spicy & slit
- Onion, rings
- Chili oil

- In a mortar pestle, add green chili, garlic cloves, ginger, salt to
taste and make a coarse paste.
- Keep aside for further use.
- In a shallow pan or kadai, add oil, once it’s hot, add cumin seeds
and let it splutter well.
- Add onions and sauté until translucent, add ginger, garlic cloves
and sauté it for 1-2 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, degi red chili powder, cumin
powder and cook on medium flame for a minute or until masala is
cooked.
- Add tomato, salt to taste and sauté well. Add water and let it
simmer for a minute.
- In a flat tawa or a pan, add oil, once it’s hot, add bay leaf,
prepared ginger garlic paste and sauté well.
- Add onion and sauté it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Add cubed
onions, capsicum and cook it for a while.
- Add prepared gravy, little water and cook well. Add tomato and sauté
it for a while.
- Add paneer and mix everything well.
- Finish it with grated paneer, prepared masala, butter, coriander
leaves and mix well.
- Transfer it into a serving dish, garnish it with coriander sprig,
lemon wedge, green chili, onion ring and chili oil.
- Serve hot with roti or naan.
- In a pan, add coriander seeds, black peppercorns, fennel seeds,
cloves, black cardamom seeds, cumin seeds, salt to taste and dry
roast it on medium flame.
- Transfer it into a grinder jar and grind it into a fine powder and
keep aside for further use.
